March for Life 2013/40th Anniversary Roe v Wade

This years March for Life 2013 marks the 40th anniversary that Roe v Wade has been legalized in the United States.  Forty years ago on January 22, 1973 the Supreme Court legalized it. 
It has been 40 years of trial and challenge for our nation...BUT through God...healing and grace abound and justice will be restored!

Even yesterday's -9 temp/ -35 with windchill couldn't keep people away.  There were about 2000 in attendance. I think it was the coldest march that we have been to.  The march was shortened not only because of the weather but also because 4 MN senators were in Washington DC.  We were not able to hear from them.  However most of the states pro-life legislators were there. There were 5 of us who came to hold our Silent No More "I Regret My Abortion" signs.  Afterwards I was able to go inside the Capitol Rotunda to pass out some of my Operation Outcry testimonies,cards and brochures.

OctoberBaby

We recently had the honor to attend a new world premiere movie called OctoberBaby that is being released in theatres across the globe Mar 23,2012. Plot, characters, actresses/actors all good. Being in the healing ministry I especially liked the birth mom scene after she has been confronted and she deny's it. Shame is displayed greatly in the movie. Students 4 Human Life Univ of MN

Wow...another recent opportunity to visit with Students 4 Human Life at the Univ of MN. Very cool to meet, greet these next generation students who come together to learn and educate others about life issues on campus! I've displayed a pic of the 2012 group.

March for Life 2012/Planned Parenthood Event

Hi everyone, MCCL's March for Life 2012 at the St.Paul,MN State Capitol was good! Thank you for your prayers! Due to limited time only one testimony was allowed. Mary Johnson, Silent No More MN speaker was able to share her testimony to about 4,000 in attendance. That's Mary, Ann Marie Cosgrove and me in the picture. It's cool to see kids and teens there with their signs CHOOSE LIFE. They are the next generation. The march clearly educates us all.

Immediately after the March for Life we headed to another pro-life event at the new mega-Planned Parenthood facility located at the corner of Vandalia St/St.Charles Avenue. Pro-Life Action Ministries sponsored this event. There were 4 of us from Silent No More MN. Mary and I shared our testimonies. We also heard from other local pastors, priests and pro-life organization leaders that day. Then we peaceably marched, prayed and sang praise songs.

About 4,000 people gathered in very cold temperatures in remembrance of life lost since Roe v Wade. Above are some photos of the gathering.
